Belén López De Carlo was born in Buenos Aires, Argentina, in 1991, where she currently lives and works.
She holds a degree in Visual Arts from the University of the Argentine Social Museum.

She trained as a Scenic Designer at the Higher Institute of Art of the Colón Theatre. She participated in the Cazadores Foundation Artist Program and in PAC Project at Gachi Prieto Gallery. She attended the Blasón Artist Program and “The first friday of every month” both coordinated by Verónica Gómez. Among her distinctions are a Special Mention at the MACSur Visual Arts Award (Buenos Aires, 2023) and her selection for the Bancor Painting Award (Córdoba, 2023). Among her solo exhibitions are “When the form remembers having been a star” with a text by César Núñez (Núcleo Gallery, Santa Fe, 2025), and “A broken promise” with a text by Nahuel Vecino (Praxis Gallery, Buenos Aires, 2024). She has participated in the group exhibitions “Summer Pop-up Vol. I, II, and III” (Gachi Prieto Gallery, Buenos Aires, 2023, 2024, and 2025), “System glitch” (Miranda Bosch Gallery, Buenos Aires, 2025), Churruca Hospital Auction (Roldán, Buenos Aires, 2025), “Misshapes” (Praxis Gallery, New York, 2024), “Going through the looking glass” (Praxis Gallery, Buenos Aires, 2023), “What matters is the skin” (Praxis Gallery, Buenos Aires, 2022), “ZoomOut” (Gachi Prieto Gallery, Buenos Aires, 2021), among others. Her work is part of private collections.
