Belén López De Carlo was born in Buenos Aires, Argentina, in 1991, where she currently lives and works.
She holds a degree in Visual Arts from the Universidad del Museo Social Argentino.

She trained as a Scenic Designer at the Instituto Superior de Arte of the Teatro Colón. She participated in the Fundación Cazadores Artist Program and in Proyecto PAC at Galería Gachi Prieto. She attended the Blasón Artist Program and “The First Friday of Every Month,” both coordinated by Verónica Gómez. Among her distinctions are a Special Mention at the MACSur Visual Arts Award (Buenos Aires, 2023) and her selection for the Bancor Painting Award (Córdoba, 2023). Among her solo exhibitions are “When Form Remembers Having Been a Star,” with a text by César Núñez (Galería Núcleo, Santa Fe, 2025), and “An Unfulfilled Promise,” with a text by Nahuel Vecino (Galería Praxis, Buenos Aires, 2024). She has participated in the group exhibitions “Summer Pop-up Vol. I, II, and III” (Galería Gachi Prieto, Buenos Aires, 2023, 2024, and 2025), “System Glitch” (Galería Miranda Bosch, Buenos Aires, 2025), Churruca Hospital Auction (Roldán, Buenos Aires, 2025), “Misshapes” (Galería Praxis, New York, 2024), “Crossing the Mirror” (Galería Praxis, Buenos Aires, 2023), “What Matters Is the Skin” (Galería Praxis, Buenos Aires, 2022), “ZoomOut” (Galería Gachi Prieto, Buenos Aires, 2021), among others. Her work is part of private collections.
