data-kb-block=\"kb-adv-heading61_e52144-f4\">In my paintings, I explore the ways we <strong>connect<\/strong> with others and with ourselves, in <em>virtual, physical, and spiritual reality.<\/em> I paint in high resolution, evoking the glow, contrast, and saturation of <strong>screens<\/strong>.<br>Throughout my series, tension shifts from the outside inward, oscillating between the superficial and the profound, where the need to return inward emerges as a response to external noise.<br><br>In the series <em>\u201cMillennials\u201d<\/em> and <em>\u201cFiltered Reality\u201d<\/em>, I investigated how we relate to one another through technology. The real appears as a form of resistance against a digitized present, in which <strong>Instagram<\/strong> filters mask loneliness and the infinite multiplication of images intensifies anxiety. I create scenes where the ephemeral coexists with suspended time; identities recreated through <strong>#selfies<\/strong>, posing to sustain desire and worshipping the simulacrum.<br><br>In <em>\u201cMy Romantic Dream\u201d<\/em>, I delved into emotional bonds. Prop objects with a kitsch-cutesy aesthetic reproduce a made-up intimacy that exposes the fracture of <strong>reality<\/strong>: the moment just before the imminent breakdown, what pretends to be alive yet is made of plastic.<br><br>In <em>\u201cMetamorphosis\u201d<\/em>, I show the constant transformation of matter and energy, a process reflected both in biological mutation and in the <strong>algorithms<\/strong> that govern contemporary technologies.<br>I seek to translate the imperceptible by representing geometries, symbols, and patterns that construct us and connect us within a with others and with ourselves, in <em>virtual, physical, and spiritual reality.<\/em> I paint in high resolution, evoking the glow, contrast, and saturation of <strong>screens<\/strong>.<br>Throughout my series, tension shifts from the outside inward, oscillating between the superficial and the profound, where the need to return inward emerges as a response to external noise.<br><br>In the series <em>\u201cMillennials\u201d<\/em> and <em>\u201cFiltered Reality\u201d<\/em>, I investigated how we relate to one another through technology. The real appears as a form of resistance against a digitized present, in which <strong>Instagram<\/strong> filters mask loneliness and the infinite multiplication of images intensifies anxiety. I create scenes where the ephemeral coexists with suspended time; identities recreated through <strong>#selfies<\/strong>, posing to sustain desire and worshipping the simulacrum.<br><br>In <em>\u201cMy Romantic Dream\u201d<\/em>, I delved into emotional bonds. Prop objects with a kitsch-cutesy aesthetic reproduce a made-up intimacy that exposes the fracture of <strong>reality<\/strong>: the moment just before the imminent breakdown, what pretends to be alive yet is made of plastic.<br><br>In <em>\u201cMetamorphosis\u201d<\/em>, I show the constant transformation of matter and energy, a process reflected both in biological mutation and in the <strong>algorithms<\/strong> that govern contemporary technologies.<br>I seek to translate the imperceptible by representing geometries, symbols, and patterns that construct us and connect us within a complex, interdependent <strong>network<\/strong>.<\/div>\n<\/div><\/div>\n\n<\/div><\/div><\/div><\/div>\n\n<\/div><\/div>","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"<p>En mis pinturas exploro las formas en que nos vinculamos con otros y con nosotros mismos, en la realidad virtual, f\u00edsica y espiritual.
