Belén López De Carlo was born in Buenos Aires in 1991.


She has a degree in Visual Arts from the Universidad del Museo Social Argentino in 2016. She trained as a Scenographic Director at the Instituto Superior de Arte del Teatro Colón in 2015. In 2019, she participated in the Artists Program of Fundación Cazadores. In 2020, she was part of PAC of the Gachi Prieto Gallery. In 2023, she attended the Blasón Artists Program, and in 2024, “The first Friday of every month”, both coordinated by Verónica Gómez.
 

In 2024, she had her solo show, “An unfulfilled promise”, at Praxis Gallery.
She participated in several group shows, including “Misshapes” at Praxis New York Gallery (2024), “Summer Pop-up” at Gachi Prieto Gallery (2023), “Through the mirror” at Praxis Gallery (2023), “What matters is the skin” at Praxis Gallery (2022) and “ZoomOut” at Gachi Prieto Gallery (2021).

 

Her works were selected in numerous salons and competitions, such as the Bancor Prize (2023), Manuel Belgrano Salon (2022), Itaú Prize (2021), MACA Museum Salon (2019).  
In 2023, she received a Special Mention in the MACSur Visual Arts Award.

In 2024, she was invited to participate in the Taller Inminente artist residency coordinated by César Núñez in Elisa, Santa Fe.

She made artistic works for the Moderno Museum and the Larreta Museum in Buenos Aires.

 

From 2015 to the present, she teaches drawing and painting in her studio.

 

Her work belongs to private collections.

She lives and works in Buenos Aires.
